Fathers Day was a jammed packed day. We spent the morning processing fish, everybody pitched in to get it packaged and in the freezer. The afternoon the familys all got together and a Fathers Day BBQ hosted at Dave and Jessica's. The weather was perfect and it was a great time. For dessert the kids all made Smores. It was the perfect ending to a great weekend. I definitely felt spoiled. I also felt very proud and blessed to have my family.

This year's fishing trip to Prince William Sound was a blast. This was the first time that all of us were on the boat together, and it was a trip we won't forget. We came home with plenty of Halibut, and a few rock fish. Each of the kids caught there limit and it was exciting to see each of them get more confident with each fish. We even got to see Grandpa harvest a Black Bear which was an amazing experience for the kids to participate in.

Somebody had to catch a fish...might as well be the Captain of the boat. Not bad for the first trip of the year!

Dave and I went King fishing. I am still searching for my first, and it is a test of patience. Couldn't have asked for a better day on the Little Su. Fish are just getting in, so to get a fish in the boat was awesome. Only fitting that first fish of the season was landed by the Captain of the boat!

Spent Saturday at Houston High School where Kace and his cousin, Dawson, competed in the Elementary School Track Meet. Kace competed in 6 events: 800m, 200m, 4x200m relay, Softball Throw, High Jump, and the Obstacle Course. It was an awesome day.
